Within the framework of a major educational reform carried out by the Education Department, this new BTS (inspired by the BTS in Commercial Action) meets the requirements of professionals in sales and distribution, since it takes account of 3 major developments:

  • an individualized approach to the customer
  • an ever-increasing demand for services
  • generalized reliance on the Information and Communication Technologies.

The course, based on an internship contract, runs for two years, with the students alternating periods in school with periods spent in the workplace (2 weeks in school / 2 weeks in the workplace).

The objective of this BTS in Business Unit Management is not only to give the students a marketing view of the markets and the business sectors, but also to teach them all the basic facts about an economic, legal, commercial or cultural environment which is undergoing sweeping changes. Throughout the course, therefore, they attain mastery of organizational, administrative and commercial management techniques and have the opportunity to use their communication skills in their day-to-day activities or in project management.

This course sets out to train its students to become operational, autonomous and responsible, and able to progress toward supervisory functions.
